Hello, I'm a Kumamoto JET using the Sunshine English
textbook. As a way to add some fun to the way my students learn
and review vocabulary, I've created some crossword puzzles. If
you're an ALT that plays a lot of games in class, they can be used as a
good wind-down activity, and if you're an ALT tape recorder (which I am
sometimes), then your students will love you for bringing
something different and kind of like a game into class. Even if
your teacher doesn't let you play games, you can convince them to let
you use crosswords. It's great spelling practice and vocabulary
review.Please feel free to download, copy,
change, or alter these files in anyway for use in class. The only
thing you can't do is sell them. Not that you could, even if you
wanted to.
Most of the files are available in Microsoft Word
format, and Adobe Acrobat. If you'd like to make changes to the
crosswords, then download the Word files. If you want to print out
the crosswords directly, choose the Acrobat files as there will be no
formatting problems with fonts, pictures and that sort of thing.
